The Olu Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle MFR, on Saturday, December 27, 2025 inaugurated two major projects, Yewa Frontier FM 102.90 and Yewa Frontier Amusement Park in Ilaro, the political capital of Yewaland.
The two multi-million naira projects are the brainchild of Engineer Afisu Olabimtan, a USA based Ilaro-Yewa illustrious son.
Sons, daughters of Yewaland and other dignitaries graced the ceremony.
Aside Oba Olugbenle, other Yewa traditional rulers and chiefs were in attendance.
The Aremo of Yewaland, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, was represented by his wife, Chief(Mrs) Temitope Adeola.
Ogun State Conmissioner for Budget and Planning, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan, Chief Mrs Iyabo Apampa also graced the occassion.
Executive Secretary, Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria, Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose, the Osorun of Isaga-Orile, High Chief Kayode Odunaro and the Executive Director, Ogun Osun River Basin Development Authority, Femi Dokunmu among others also attended the ceremony.
