Ansar-Ud-Deen Mourns Akindele, Pioneer Golden Sisters' Chairperson!

The death has occurred of Alhaja Risikat Akindele, the pioneer chairperson of Ansar-ud-deen Golden Sisters, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

According to records, Akindele, along with other 40 pioneer members, established the group in November,1995.  A retired nurse, Akindele was the chairperson of the all-females group for 21 years (1995-2016) . 

She was buried last Monday, 22nd September, 2025 according to Islamic rites at her residence, Olomore Housing Estate, Abeokuta. Aged 66, the 8-day Fidau for the late nurse will hold on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at her residence beginning 1.00pm.

 May Almighty Allah accept her life sojourn as Ibaadah.
